"Hey Alpha, are you really fine with us wearing these clothes?" X-Ray asked, tugging on his sweater. "I'm starting to have second thoughts about them."

"I agree," Kilo added. "I don't feel comfortable being outside of my uniform."

Alpha sighed. "Look, I'm not exactly sold on the idea, but we better get used to it for the time being. Besides, it's not like we'll be forced into a situation were we have to turn in our uniforms, right?"

"Well, when you put it that way..." Bravo trailed off when he realized something. "Hey, has anyone seen Tango?
Jinja walked around the town with Tango, suddenly offering to have some 'girl time' the Strike Squad operative. Of course, Tango had little to no clue on what girl time meant, so it was up to Jinja to educate her.

"So where are you taking me, Jinja?" Tango asked as she followed the brunette.

"I don't know, but I'll think of something," Jinja replied rather quickly. It should be noted that Jinja didn't look back towards Tango because most of her face was bright red from seeing Tango in her new outfit and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get the image out of her head... as well as a few other images that will not be brought up at this time.

"Hey, why don't we try that place over there?" Tango suggested, pointing to an arcade.

"S-Sure," Jinja said, making a mad dash for the arcade.

"Wait! Jinja!" Tango quickly ran after her.
"You know, I just thought of something," Bren said. "We now know that Jinja has a thing for Tango, but do you think that Tango feels the same way?"

"I've never really thought of that," Chase replied. "Of course, this kinda brings up another issue."

"And what would that be?" Dax asked saracastically.

"What do you think will happen if the Strike Squad find out about this?"

Immediately, all their faces drained of color hearing that.

"I don't even want to see their reaction when they find out," Bren groaned. "And crag forbid if Alpha were to walk in on them... making out."

"Hey Glasses," Dax snapped. "Don't start filling our heads with your perverted fantasies!"

Bren shot an accusing glare at the lowlander. "Like you weren't thinking the same thing!"

"Guys, let's stay on track here!" Chase shouted. "If Jinja is considered telling Tango how she feels about her, then it falls on us to break the news to the Strike Squad and make sure they don't do anything drastic."

"Well, ain't that cute," a female voice sneered from nowhere. "Concerned about your friend, Suno?"

Chase and the others around to see who spoke to them. Although, for some odd reason, none of the people seemed to have noticed.

"What the crag is going on right now?" Chase asked.

"H-Hey Monkfish," Dax stuttered. "Do you know what-"

"I have absolutely no idea," Beyal replied.

"Hey, guys, the people are disappearing!" Bren shrieked. What he said was true, all of the town's inhabitants started disappearing one by one until the boys were alone.

"I'll say it again: what in the name of sweet crag is going on?" Chase asked, looking around frantically.

"I have all the answers you need... that is, if you're willing to hear them."

The boys quickly turned around to see a woman with brown eyes, blond hair tied into buns and square glasses. She wore a black and purple top that left her whole abdomen exposed as well as black harem pants along with black dress shoes. The woman glared at them with hostile intent.

"So, this is the legendary Team Core-Tech my mistress has spoken about," she hissed.

"Um... yeah, that would be us," Chase replied nervously. "And you are...?"

The woman let out a dry chuckle. "Oh, forgive me. I have forgotten to introduce myself. I am Aryn, one of the Swords of Umbra. I also go by the alias "Flamberge", by the way."

"I do not understand, but I have the feeling that sounds familiar," Beyal said to himself.

"Oi, what's your deal? And what did you do with the bleezin' townsfolk?" Dax asked rather angrily.

Aryn let out a haughty laugh. "My, my, what a temper on this one. Don't worry your pretty little dreads, lowlander. I didn't do anything to the civilians."

"Then why did they just up and disappear like that?" Bren asked.

Aryn laughed again. "Oh, I'm afraid you're mistaken."

"Huh?"

"The townspeople didn't disappear: you did."

The boys stared at her in shock.

"What do you mean, we've disappeared?" Chase snapped.

"I've brought you into a pocket dimension I have created," Aryn explained.

Bren felt dizzy all of a sudden. "Pocket dimension? How did you even manage that?"

Aryn shrugged. "I could tell you, but you probably wouldn't believe me. But I'm not here to make idle chatter with you. No, I'm here to end you."

"I... I beg your pardon?" Beyal asked.

Aryn scowled as she pulled out a dark purple and white Core from her top. "You heard me, monk. My mistress will not stand for your mistreatment of Monsunos any longer."

Chase's eyes widened. "Wait, you got that all-"

"Krampus, Launch!" Aryn cried as she threw her Core. It spun right past the boys and hit a nearby wall, releasing a large amount of purple energy. From the energy emerged a Monsuno like never seen before. It had a humanoid body, white skin with purple stripes, goat legs and horns on its head. It let out an ear-splitting roar that made paralyzed them in fear.

"Well... this is going to be fun," Dax deadpanned.

A wild Aryn appears! And with her, the Monsuno version of the holiday demon.

Oh boy. As if the guys don't have enough to tangle with regarding Jinja and the Strike Squad, now they have Aryn to deal with. Well, better spin out first, and figure out details later.

Looking forward to another Monsuno battle. I've got a feeling Chase and the guys ain't gonna have an easy time with Aryn, like most of the bad dudes they go up against.
