Akira walked through around the Panopticon, looking for another exit point where he wouldn't be detected by any OPS personnel. Of course, it was a bit ironic since there isn't a section of the 'Con that isn't under heavy surveillance. But that didn't stop Akira from trying. All he had to do was make sure he didn't run into any, distractions.

"Hey, Akira!"

Akira sighed. So much for avoiding distractions. He turned around to see none other than his fellow Sinner and close friend, Mattias. He was sporting his big grin as usual.

"What is it, Mattias? I'm kinda in a hurry here," Akira said quickly.

Mattias faked a hurt look. "What, you're too busy to spend time with your best buddy in the entire world?"

"No, I just got to go after this Joker dude. If no one stops him, he's going to keep laying waste to everything!"

Mattias started to get upset. "Oh, okay, dude. I see what's going on."

Akira let out a breath of relief. "Thank God. For a second there, I thought you wouldn't understand."

"Oh, I understand completely," Mattias growled. "You're going after this Joker fellow so you can hog all the glory!"

Akira stared at him blankly. "You... you're kidding, right?"

"I've been in your shadow for long enough, dude!" Mattias announced, gripping his Kannagi. "It's time I got into the spotlight!"

Akira groaned as he brought out his Murasame. "Fine, man. It's your funeral."

Akira vs. Mattias

Akira twirls his Murasame in his right hand, then grips and points it towards the camera. "Alright. Let's do this."

Mattias grins as he swings around his Kannagi, then slams it on the ground. "Let's tear shaz up!"

Akira charges towards Mattias and manages to get him with a few jabs, but Mattias manages to guard in time before anymore damage is dealt to him. Feeling frustrated, Akira charges his Will'O to unleash a special move.

"Here we go!" Murasame glows in Akira's hand. "Renegade Blitzer!" He releases a flurry strikes that overwhelm Mattias, causing him to fall on his back. As he gets back on his feet, Akira charges towards him once again, only to get caught in a throw by Mattias.

"Argh!" Akira slammed into a wall, but got back up only to get struck by a heavy slash from Mattias. "What?!" Akira was launched into the air and Mattias jumped after him, landing jab after jab on Akira and finishing him off with a kick.

Severed!

Akira: Are you serious?

Akira lands on the ground, unconscious. Mattias lands on his feet and puts his sword over his shoulder while grinning. "How do you like me now?"

Akira... Lose

Mattias charges towards Akira and prepare to throw him again, only for Akira to escape at the last minute. "Not happening!" Akira then counters by landing multiple slashes and following it up with an overdrive. "Let's go!" Akira's entire body started to glow as he rushed towards Mattias. "Breaking Through!" He slices through Mattias, causing the latter's body to be enveloped in Will'O, damaging him until her fainted.

Severed!

Mattias: What kind of shaz is this...?

Akira suddenly gets glomped by his Accessory, then gets a kiss on the cheek. "Well, that was worth it."

Akira... Win!

Clash 03

Let's Contribute!

Not wanting to waste anymore time than they need to, Akira and Mattias ran towards each other, but Akira managed strike first and followed it up with many relentless attacks. Mattias tried to counter them, but Akira blocked them all. Soon, his Will'O was charged completely, ready for a final attack.

"This is the end!" Akira released a handful of Will'O and charged it into his Murasume. "EAT THIS!" He uses his Thorn to drag Mattias to where he was standing to fatally strike him with his blade, instantly rendering him unconscious.

GAUGE BREAK!!

Mattias: Aw man, this sucks...

Akira drives his blade into the ground while smiling menacingly. "Is that all you got?"

Akira... Win!

Win Quote: I told you, you shouldn't have faced me, bro. Now look what happened to you.

"Man... that was... intense," Mattias panted.

"I'll say," Akira agreed. "For a second there, I thought you would've beaten me."

Mattias shot him a dirty look. "Don't tease me like that, dude."

Akira smiled. "I'm serious, man. You've come a long way since we beat Hourai."

Mattias scratched the back of his head. "Hey, you might think I'm some hopeless flirt, but you underestimate me."

Akira sighed. "Mattias, look, this was nice and all, but I really need to get going."

"Can I come with you?" Mattias pleaded.

Akira looked at him in disbelief. "Why?"

Mattias groaned. "I really don't want to be around Natalia right now. You should've seen her ordering everone around, man. She's acting like the shaz hit the fan."

"Well, if we don't find Joker, then she might be right. Let's go," Akira said, walking off.

"Right behind you, dude!" Mattias cheered trailing behind.

Next Stage - Riela "Angel" Marcellis

Mattias: Hey, that girl's pretty hot.

Akira: Mattias, you think every girl you see is hot.

Mattias: I know, but she might be the hottest girl we've encountered.

Akira: *sighs* Sometimes I wonder where your head is at.
