Part 1: Vs. Jaune

Stage: Atlas Armory

Ruby: Jaune, what are you doing here?

Jaune: I can't talk right now! I'm gonna lose her!

Ruby: Lose who?

Jaune: Who do you think? Pyrrha!

Ruby: (shocked) But Jaune... Pyrrha's-

Jaune: I know, but... I saw her! The red hair, her weapon, everything! Even if it is just an illusion... I have to know.

Ruby: Jaune, face it. Pyrrha's gone. Nothing you do is going to change that.

Jaune: (grits his teeth) I need to know. (unsheaths his sword) And I won't hold back if you're going to stop me.

Ruby: (takes out her scythe) Wake up, Jaune.

(After the fight)

Jaune: (kneels down) Ugh...

Ruby: Jaune, stop this. Pyrrha wouldn't want this.

Jaune: I let her down, Ruby. Why can't you see that?

Ruby: I couldn't get to her in time, Jaune. What happened is my-

Jaune: (shouting) I was an idiot! I didn't bother to realize how she felt until it was too late!

Ruby: Jaune...

Jaune: All this time... All this damn time up until that night, I had been too obsessed with Weiss know how she felt... but I now I have a second chance. And I'm not letting anyone stop me. (runs off)

Ruby: Jaune!

Part 2: Vs. Violet

Stage: Boneyard

Ruby: Uh... hello?

Violet: (the girl says nothing as the wolf stares at her)

Ruby: You know that you're stuck with a Beowolf, right? Can't you hear me?

Violet: (remains silent)

Ruby: (walks close to the girl) Could you please say something-

Violet: GET BACK!

Ruby: (jumps back in surprise) Huh?

Violet: DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!

Ruby: (looks around frantically) Who said that? Wait... (looks towards the girl) That was you?

Violet: (the wolf that is attached to the girl begins to growl menacingly)

Ruby: (takes out her scythe) This is going to be complicated... I hope I can beat it without hurting the girl.

Violet: (the wolf lets out a menacing howl)

Ruby: But given the circumstances, I don't have a choice.

(After the fight)

Ruby: (pants heavily) Who... or what... are you?

Violet: ...Nothing you need to worry about.

Ruby: What do you mean?

Violet: I'm not going to repeat myself. If you value your life, forget you ever met me.

Ruby: How can I forget you? You're probably the most amazing thing... person... thing-person I've ever seen!

Violet: Well, unsee me right now. It'll be better that way for both of us.

Ruby: Why?

Violet: (disappears without saying another word)

Ruby: ...That was weird.

Part 3: Vs. Roman

Stage: Forever Fall 

Roman: (smug) Well hello, Red. How have you been?

Ruby: (shocked) No. No, that's possible. I-I saw you-

Roman: Get swallowed alive? (groaned) I'd rather not recall that moment, thank you.

Ruby: But how did you-

Roman: It spat me out, that's al I'm going to say from this point forward. Now, are we gonna fight or what?

Ruby: B-B-But you haven't given me a straight answer!

Roman: (grits his teeth) And I'm not giving you one. Like I said, I don't want to talk about it.

Ruby: (pouts) I don't remember you being this difficult.

Roman: (pulls out his cane) Trust me, I'm about to get a lot worse.

(After the fight)

Roman: (kneels down, grasping his arm) Ugh... I must be losing my edge if I'm letting a schoolgirl beat me.

Ruby: I still can't believe you're alive. How is that possible?

Roman: You know, kid, I think that your ears are broken. What do you hear when I say, "I don't want to talk about it"?

Ruby: But you can't just say that and expect people to just go along with it!

Roman: I just did. And better not press it any further, 'cause I'm not saying another word.

(Roman walks away, leaving Ruby alone)

Ruby: I have to know... I just need to know how he managed to survive being eaten.

Part 4: Vs. Yang

Stage: Frigid Cliffs

Ruby: (nearly tears up) Y-Yang...

Yang: (coldly) What?

Ruby: (in shock) I-I...

Yang: (impatient) If you have something to say, then come out with it.

Ruby: Why are you acting like this?

Yang: (scoffs) Are you really wasting my time?

Ruby: Yang....

Yang: (growls and gets into a fighting stance) I don't have time for this.

Ruby: (brings out her scythe) Why... why are you like this?

(After the fight)

Ruby: Please stop this, Yang. I don't like it when you act this way.

Yang: I think I'm obglated to act however I want. Why do you care?

Ruby: I care because I'm your sister.

Yang: (scowls) If you cared, why did you leave? Why did you leave me alone?

Ruby: (blinks) I... I left a note... didn't Dad show it to you?

Yang: (bitterly) Yeah, he did.

Ruby: Then you know why I had to leave.

Yang: Honestly, I don't really care. 

Ruby: What?

Yang: If you think you can go out and avenge Pyrrha, then go for all I care.

Ruby: (angry) How could you say that?! What gives you the impression that I'm trying to avenge Pyrrha?!

Yang: (shrugs) Just wondering. Now leave me alone. (walks away) I got something to take care of.

(Ruby is alone)

Ruby: (sadly) Yang... how can you be like this? I want to know...

(the world around Ruby comes to a sudden halt)

?: All in good time, Ruby. But for now, I need to see you now.

Ruby: (looks around) Who was that? 

?: Someone who you have recently met... or did you forget so soon?

Ruby: (gasps) Lilac?

Lilac: (laughs) And she hits the nail on the head! Took her a while, though...

Ruby: What's going on? What are you doing?

Lilac: I will explain everything. But first, you need a change of scenery.

Ruby: What do you- (disappears from Frigid Cliffs)

Part 5: Vs. Lilac

Stage: Amity Arena 

Ruby: (is warped to the arena) Wow... it's the arena.

Lilac: (sits in the front row) Not exactly. It's a replication I created from the mind.

Ruby: (notices him) You!

Lilac: (laughs) Yeah, it's me. How're you doing, Rose?

Ruby: Could you tell me what's going on? So far, I'm being warped from one place to another and I don't know why or how it's happening.

Lilac: That, my dear Rose is simple. 

Ruby: How?

Lilac: It's all in your mind.

Ruby: ...Huh?

Lilac: All the battles you you have experienced, it was in your mind.

Ruby: (groans) So you saying it was all in my head?

Lilac: Yeah. It was something I created.

Ruby: (tilts her head) Meaning...

Lilac: Well, to make a long story short, I have placed you in a dream-like state and put you up against your friends in a similar state of mind.

Ruby: So... we all share the same dream?

Lilac: Something like that. You've reached the end point, Ruby Rose. (draws his sword) Time to prove your worth.

(After the battle)

Ruby: So... are you going to tell me now?

Lilac: Tell you what?

Ruby: Are you going to tell me what you mean by resetting the world.

Lilac: Oh, that? It's nothing you need to worry about.

Ruby: I can't help but worry about it! You talk about "resetting the world", and I don't know what you mean by it! So I want you tell me right now!

Lilac: (sighs) There's no reasoning with you, is there? 

Ruby: (stares at him)

Lilac: Alright. I'll tell you everything, so listen up.
